I studied Advertising and Journalism at the University of Nebraska and then kicked off my career at a youth marketing agency called Archrival, writing copy for brands like Red Bull, Hormel, and Pabst Brewing Company.
Years later, I made a Lewis-and-Clark-esque-journey out to the Pacific Northwest and found a new home at Grady Britton, creating content for local favorites like Bob’s Red Mill, Dave’s Killer Bread, Travel Portland, and Nike.
In 2013, I made an even bigger jump from for-profit to nonprofit and joined the charity: water team in New York City.
For more than a decade, I had the privilege of traveling the globe capturing stories about charity: water’s local partners and the people they serve. I got to host a beloved video series and help create a film that’s been seen 35 million times. I got to lead a 15-person team responsible for dreaming up press-worthy fundraising campaigns and building unforgettable experiences. And I got to help raise nearly $1B for clean water.
Today, I co-lead a creative agency called Mutiny Co. that believes good deserves better. We help nonprofits and well-intentioned brands inspire purpose, trust, and belief.
