Friends! The FIFA World Cup kicks off on Thursday and I want to give you more teams to cheer for! If you're up for it, venmo me $10 (@tylerriewer), pick a team from each of the tiers below, and then text it to me. You'll be able to click "copy" at the bottom of the page when you're done.
I'll update this page on Thursday with a leaderboard so you can follow along in realtime.
Scoring Details
Every win or tie earns points. Points increase each round. Most points at the end wins.
Payouts
This pool will pay out the top three places. 1st place: 65%, 2nd place: 25%, and 3rd place: 10%
Upset Bonuses
For the group stage, we're rewarding all upsets. If Tier 2 beats Tier 1 = it's ×2 pts. If Tier 3 beats Tier 2 = also ×2 pts. If Tier 3 beats Tier 1 = it's ×3 pts, baaaaby!
Deadline
Venmo @tylerriewer and send your picks asap! Games kick off at 3:00pm ET on Thursday.
